We are trying to find a good open source customer support / help desk application to complement our ecommerce application (Magento). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

   We just made the switch to OSTicket.

   It's PHP based but if you can get around that, you'll appreciate the
   sophistication you get from it.

   It has an HTTP client interface but can also create tickets from
   incoming emails (including attachments).

   All response and auto-response emails are fully customisable.

   You can create departments and assign tickets to users too.

   We currently do between 50 and 100 queries a day and are very happy
   with the product.
